Our Story

DoGoodFeelGood is a lifestyle brand based out of Denver, Colorado. Our goal is to refocus attention on a plain and simple principal, "If you do good you feel good.”  Our mission is to help spread the LOVE.

Here is our backstory…

When I was 21, I got a job at an event marketing company. My job was to travel the country and set up large events for corporations to promote their brand. From Super Bowls to Times Square for the NYE ball drop, I got to go to the coolest events in America. But I started to feel guilty about driving big, gas guzzling vehicles around the country.  I changed gears and decided to “take some time off.”

I quit my job and created my first philanthropic activity called “Trek Against Trash,” the premise of which was to reuse and recycle. I pitched my idea to a large non-profit who helped me execute my idea. I spent 5 months hiking the entire 2,174 mile Appalachian Trail. Along the way, I picked up trash and recyclables. I also stopped into trail towns for scheduled speaking engagements at  various school to talk about the importance of recycling. All of the money raised was donated to educational recycling programs. Once I completed my summit of Mount Katahdin in Maine, the non-profit flew me to various colleges and events to speak about my experiences. It was such a wonderful experience. I remember thinking how cool it felt making a difference.

Fast forward a few years and life happens. I move to a new place, get a new job and start living a “normal” life again. I had moved to Denver and got a job working for a brewery (a dream job to many). But once again, I became guilt-ridden.  I wasn’t helping people the way that I wanted to nor was I making a positive difference. Again, I decided to do something about it.

I created DoGoodFeelGood (DGFG). I started this a few years ago not knowing what, when, where or how it would turn out. I wanted to create a happy logo and honest tag line. I printed it on t-shirts, hats, and stickers.  Whenever I see someone do something kind for someone else, I give them a DoGoodFeelGood sticker. The look I always get is priceless. People love seeing our gear!  Every time someone sees me in a DGFG shirt, they ask "what does it mean?”  My response is always, ”Apply this principal to your life. Do something to make yourself healthier and happier. Help a friend or stranger. Do something kind for someone else because they need help.” It’s one of the first things we learn as children. Somewhere along the way, we forget that helping others is one of the main reasons we are here.

Our main goal is to sell awesome gear and to spread this message. If you love the idea, please support us. You don’t have to buy a shirt to help but just like us on FACEBOOK or follow us on INSTAGRAM. Tell us your stories and post pictures of people helping people. It costs $0 to be a good human being.

Thank you for the time, support and love.
